JOB INFORMATION
Job Title: Child Development Specialist

Provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays. Utilize developmentally appropriate play activities to foster child’s development. Works closely with other child-related specialists to foster the development of cognitive capacities, motor skills, language skills, self-help skills, play skills, and social emotional development. Working from an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) for special services for young children provide child development specialist services in accordance with the IFSP and be responsible for reporting and recording progress. Use Floor-Time methodology and the DIR/Floor-time model of play therapy to interact with young children with developmental delays.

Full-Time Hours: 40 per week
Schedule Days: Monday –Friday
9:00 A.M. to 5 P.M.
